How to Do Bite-Sized Affiliate Marketing, Make Money and Make Big Progress

Can you get anywhere valuable by spending only 15 minutes at a time?

Actually yes. As surprising as it may sound, you may even get further than someone who starts out and spends five hours on their first day. There is a logical explanation.

Why 15 Minutes Beats Five Hours

If you are starting from scratch, you will be eager to make your first dollar online.

Especially, if your goal is to make a full-time living online. This is possible. A lot of people have already done it.

But you need to start the right way.

If you start with a goal of putting in as many hours daily as you can, you will quickly burn out. It takes time to get results. This is easier to accept when you only spend a few times 15 minutes a day than if you work hard for a week to make progress.

When you work hard for hours, you want quick results to compensate.

While this is possible once you have an established business, it is almost impossible when you are starting out. When you only invest a little time, your expectations are lower. Even a small win now will make you happy.

When you are happy, you are more motivated to continue.

Can you imagine running a marathon when you have never tried to run before? It would be stupid to even attempt. You need to train your muscles to run that far.

Just like you need to train your writing muscles or video recording muscles to work five hours focused per day.

If you start out hard, you will end abruptly.

Finally, it is a lot easier to motivate yourself to get to work, when you know you will only be doing so for the next 5-25 minutes.

Here Is Why 15-Minutes Beat Five Hours

For all the above reasons, it is easier to put in 15 minutes of work several times per day and per week.

Let us say that all you have is four slots of 15 minutes. This adds up to one hour per day. In one week, assuming you take the weekend off, you will have worked on your affiliate marketing business for five hours.

If you instead worked five hours in one day and then burned out, you would still have worked only five hours that week.

Sadly, a lot of people do not just burn out for a week. They burn out for months. So, before you get back to affiliate marketing, alternative you will have put in five hours a week for a while.

This is a clear case of the tortoise beating the hare many times.

This explains how you can make big progress spending only little time every day. But how about the money? How do they enter your wonderful and relaxed daily life?

How to Make Big Money with Bite-Sized Affiliate Marketing

You would be surprised if you could see behind the scenes how some marketers work 30 minutes per day and make big money.

The power lies not in the time you put into your business, but in the quality you put into that time. The secret is to make a plan, build a system and follow the structure in every spare bite-sized time-chunk you have.

First you build the structure, then it is just putting in the work. So where do you start? Let us look at the structure.

A Solid Structure for Success

First, you need to find out how many bites of time you have during a normal day.

Not your dream day. Not when everything aligns. But on your average, normal day.

Once you have that number, say four times 15 minutes, you must create your structure to fit this number.

A good, solid structure will contain the following points:

  1. Pick an affiliate product you want to share.
  2. Spend time getting familiar with the product.
  3. Choose a way to share information about the product.
  4. Create the information you want to share.
  5. Grow your audience.

You will have to repeat the first point several times.

While it is better not to jump from product to product but share different angles of one product, you will likely not only promote one product the rest of your life.

One week for each product or one month is more fitting.

Picking your platform can be a one-time choice. Assuming the platform you chose will keep you satisfied. I will help you with this task in a later article.

Make yourself familiar with the product.

You need to do this point for every new product you pick. This can be time-consuming, especially if you are looking at a video course. If you plan to promote one new product a week, make sure there are not more than three, max four hours of video inside the course. It is also a good idea to switch between written courses, physical products, video courses and software.

When you switch things up, you are not binding up several hours per week just for this one part of your business.

The creation of the share takes time, too.

It can be as little as five minutes. But you should often expect it to take at least one hour. If it is a one- or two-hour task, you need to set aside one or two days, four times 15 minutes at a time, just for this task.

You will likely start from scratch or with only a few followers or subscribers.

Make it a healthy part of your business to set aside timeslots to grow your audience. Otherwise, your business will die in its infantry.

Build the Structure and Rinse and Repeat

When you have chosen a good platform, all you need to do every week is just go through each of the four other points.

Assuming you take weekends off, you can spend Sunday night planning the next week. This step may take some time the first few times you do it. But soon this will also be a bite-sized task.

You will get to a point where you can do this in 15 minutes or less.

That is when you can say you have a successful bite-sized affiliate business.
